This page describes what this website does with information about its visitors. It is short because the site does very little.

Who runs this site

This website is the personal website of Yılmaz Canpolat, an independent developer and consultant based in Türkiye. Questions about this page can be sent to ylmzcanpolat@gmail.com.

What the site does

  • It is a static website. Pages are generated in advance and served as files. There is no user account, no login and no database behind the public pages.
  • No analytics. The site does not load analytics or advertising scripts and does not track visitors across pages or sites. If a measurement tool is ever enabled, this page will be updated to say which tool, what it collects and how consent is handled.
  • No cookies set by the site. The site itself does not set cookies.
  • Nothing stored in your browser. The site does not use local storage or similar browser storage. Display preferences such as the color scheme follow your operating system or browser setting and are not recorded by the site.
  • Fonts are served from this site. Web fonts are self-hosted; no requests are made to third-party font services.
  • No contact form. Contact happens through your own email application via a link on the site. Nothing you write is submitted to or stored by this website; the email goes directly from your mail provider to mine.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare processes each request in order to deliver the site, and may keep standard logs (for example the requested address, time, IP address and browser type) for security and operational purposes according to its own policies. I do not use these logs to identify visitors.

If you email me

When you contact me by email, I receive your address and whatever you include in the message. I use it only to reply and to discuss the project or product question you raised. I do not add addresses to mailing lists and do not share them with third parties. You can ask me to delete our correspondence at any time.

The site links to client stores, GitHub, LinkedIn and Upwork. Those sites have their own privacy policies and I have no control over what they collect.

Changes to this page

If the site starts doing something new with visitor information — a contact form, analytics, product-specific services — this page will be updated before that change goes live, and the date above will change.
