About
Independent full-stack developer and Shopify consultant based in Türkiye, working directly with international clients on storefronts and the integrations behind them.
I am an independent full-stack developer and Shopify consultant based in Türkiye. I work directly with international clients — brands, manufacturers and the teams around their stores — on Shopify storefronts and on the integrations that connect those stores to the rest of the business.
What I do
My work sits between the storefront and the back office. On the storefront side that means theme and section development from design files, platform migrations, subscription and bundle flows, configurators, performance and technical SEO. On the back-office side it means custom Shopify apps and Node.js services for dealer and approval workflows, CRM/ERP data exchange, supplier synchronization and order enrichment. Most projects need both, and I prefer to be responsible for the whole path from a click on the product page to a record in the ERP.
How I work with clients
- Directly. Clients talk to the person writing the code. Questions get answered by someone who knows the store.
- From the business process. Before deciding on an app or a custom build, I want to understand who orders, who approves, where prices come from and where orders have to go. The Calma dealer portal was designed this way — as a quotation-to-approval chain first and a set of Shopify features second.
- With the team. I have worked alongside designers handing over Figma and Adobe files, SEO specialists and agencies delivering audits, store managers with change lists, ERP/CRM vendor representatives, and other developers. On the Nurus project I coordinated two other developers in addition to my own work.
- For handover. Sections carry editor settings, data flows are documented, and training is part of migration projects — Modulup’s team manages its catalog and content on its own after the handover.
- With clear scope. I say when something is better solved with a theme setting or an existing app than with custom code.
Experience, in examples
- B2B on Shopify. A dealer portal with applications, role-based pricing, quotations, draft orders, approvals and country-based account managers, with a 3D configurator and transfer to Axapta and a CRM (Calma).
- Live-store theme migration with integrations. A new theme on a live office-furniture store through a GitHub workflow, delivery and assembly logic, and a custom app exchanging data with CRM/ERP (Nurus).
- Platform migration. A catalog of roughly 1,200 products and 80,000 variants moved to Shopify with configurator data, 301 redirects and training (Modulup).
- Subscriptions and bundles. Subscription controls integrated consistently on Shopify Plus stores: across product pages, drawer cart and cart (CTRL), and additionally in search results and the quiz (Kiss the Hippo).
- Performance and multichannel operations. Asset-loading and Liquid work on a slow storefront, and inventory tooling across Shopify, Amazon and Etsy (GoWith).
- Supplier integration. A server-side Node.js application built to synchronize stock and prices and to forward orders, cancellations and tracking between a Shopify store and a supplier system that offered no webhooks.
- Theme product work. Performance-oriented sections and an image-comparison component for a commercially distributed Shopify theme, with direct user support.
- Manufacturing context. In the Nurus/Calma environment I have also worked on production-process tooling — MES-related screens, user authorization and QR/barcode flows exchanging data with Axapta. That experience shapes how I think about an order after it leaves the storefront.
Tools I work with
JavaScript and Node.js, React and Next.js, Liquid, HTML/CSS, MySQL with Sequelize. Shopify Admin API (REST and GraphQL), webhooks, CRM/ERP connections and custom middleware. Around that: Git/GitHub, Linux/Ubuntu, Nginx, PM2, and where projects needed them, React Native, WordPress REST, Strapi, Puppeteer and AWS Amplify.
